    How it works: 

     

    • Drink five 16oz juices/day for your preferred number of cleanse days 
    • If you aren’t a juicing expert or simply like to chew solid food in addition to drinking juice, supplement your cleanse with healthy, plant-based food
    • During a cleanse, avoid: anything processed, dairy, alcohol, and animal products (if possible, and feasible for your unique health situation). Simply eat whole, plant based foods + juice (or ALL juice, depending on your experience with cleanses and desired outcome) 
    • To get the most out of your cleanse, we recommend cleansing during low-key days during which you can take some time to relax, reflect, and reset in a peaceful setting without any stressful or negative energy. Namaste with me now…

     

    How to prep for a cleanse:

     

    To get the most out of your cleanse, we recommend preparing your body properly to avoid potentially negative detoxing symptoms. Prep appropriately, based on your lifestyle!

     

    • Junk foodie: I regularly eat processed foods, stop at the drive thru weekly, binge on sweets, and eat a mostly animal product-based diet high in fat
      • Prep your body for a full week before a cleanse, slowly eliminating added sugar, animal products, processed foods, dairy, soda, and fast food runs of any kind 
    • Busy body: I generally try to be healthy, but my life is chaotic and busy, and I often fall victim to ordering unhealthy take-out meals because I just don’t have time
      • Prep your body for 5 days. Prep your healthy meals in advance of your busy week, and stick to your plan, incorporating more whole, plant-based foods (vegetable-heavy). Eliminate animal-based products, processed foods, and added sugars by the end of the 5-day period
    • Weekend binger: I generally eat whole, plant-based foods and stay pretty healthy during the week, but on the weekends I like to let loose! Anything goes on the weekend - whiskey, cake, wine, and ALLL the meats
      • Prep your body for 3 days. Eliminate the processed foods, tobacco, alcohol and sweets you usually consume over the weekend. Drink plenty of water.
    • Health nut: I’m super healthy, and eat primarily whole, plant-based foods all the time. When I’m not doing yoga, going for a walk, or hiking, I’m drinking green juice. I never (or rarely) drink alcohol 
      • You shouldn’t need much prep, only 1 day or so. Simply keep on keepin’ on your path, avoiding alcohol, sweets, animal products, hydrating well before your cleanse
